ENJOY THE PLEASURES OF SIN

HEBREWS 11:25
Every believer faces the recurring choice that Moses faced:
  1. to be identified with Christ and God's people, even though it may bring rejection and persecution, or
  2. to enjoy the momentary "pleasures of sin" and the feeling of freedom that may initially come from going our own way. We must keep in mind that our temporal choices have eternal consequences (Galatians 5:17). Unlike Esau, who traded long-range good for immediate satisfaction (Hebrews 12:16), Moses traded momentary pleasure and privilege for future long-range good. He was able to make the right choice for two reasons:  (1) He was a man with solid spiritual values (Hebrews 11:26) and (2) he was a man of spiritual vision (Hebrews 11:27).
Let's Pray
Heavenly Father, Thank You for taking my sin upon You. I am sorry for the wrong things I have done and for the right I have failed to do. I confess my sins to You and ask for forgiveness. (Confess your sins, by act and by name to Him). Lord, thank You for helping me with my past and present sins. Help me to keep my eyes not on my sin, but on my Savior, Jesus. Help me to soar by casting off the weights of sin. Help me to live the life You have called me to live. I thank You for having a winning game plan for dealing with my Sin.
 In Jesus’ name, Amen

GOD IS NOT ASHAMED

Did Not Receive The Things Promised. (Hebrews 11:13) These Old Testament heroes of faith died with the confidence that God had something better in store for them. In their lifetime, they did not see God's final promised blessing that would finally come through Christ. Since we now have the benefit of experiencing life based on God's fulfilled promises through Christ, we must also continue to trust God, even when we do not see all of God's promises fulfilled in our lives. The faith that God approves of is a faith that is able to surrender God's promises back to Him with the confidence that He will fulfill them according to His timing, plans and purposes.
God Is Not Ashamed.
Those who honor God by living as "aliens and strangers" (1 Peter 2:11) and by desiring and pursuing a better country will be honored by God, who will call Himself their God. He will not be ashamed to acknowledge them as His very own children (Exodus 3:6).
Let Pray:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the many ways You teach us the truth of Your redemptive plan and examples of men of faith, like Abraham, who trusted You when severely tested and was used as an example of living our life by faith. I pray that my faith in You may grow and mature, and that no matter what circumstances happen in this life - I will trust You with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding or imagination.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE CITY

Hebrews 11:10
Abraham knew that the earthly promised land was not the end of his journey of faith. Rather, God's promise pointed beyond everything on earth to the heavenly city that God has prepared for His faithful servants. Abraham serves as an example for all God's people, reminding us that we are only traveling through this world on our way to God's city and His home for us in heaven. We are not to look for unending security in this present life or be attached to this present world (Hebrews 11:14,16;  Hebrews 13:14).
We must consider ourselves as strangers and exiles on the earth. This is not our homeland; the end of our journey will be "a better country" (Verse 16), "the heavenly Jerusalem" (Hebrews 12:22) and the "city that is to come" (Hebrews 13:14)
Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, how wonderful to know that Your promises will all be fulfilled and that a day is coming when our faith will be turned into sight as future prophecies and promises will be fulfilled at Your appointed time and in Your specified way. Thank You for the example of men and women of faith like Abraham and Sarah, and for the knowledge that nothing that You have planned and purposed will be left unfinished. Thank You that my sins have been forgiven and will be remembered no more and together with Abraham and all the saints, I look forward to the city to come - whose Builder and Maker is God.

I Jesus' Name. AMEN.

    $20.00

I'm excited to announce the new bible study starting soon.

Tailspin Farms Life In Grace will be studying The Book of Matthew.

NOTE: THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE A PHYSICAL COPY OF THE BIBLE STUDY.

    The Gospel of Matthew

he Word Gospel. The first book of the English Bible that most of us read from is the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew is the first of the four gospel writings, yet there is only one gospel about Jesus Christ and there are four different writers: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The word "Gospel" means "good news", and the good news is about Jesus Christ dying on the cross and then 3 days later conquering death and rising from the dead, offering salvation to all mankind, this is the Gospel.

I hope you that you'll participate in this 15-week series.

Matthew has 28 chapters. For the in-depth study the 154-page eBook will help with your study.

    Book of Micah Bible Study

    $14.00

Here at Tailspin Farms Life in Grace Bible Study series we are starting the book of MICAH!

The book of MICAH is from the Old Testament.

The book of Micah contains many warnings of doom and prophecies of hope.

In this study on Micah I hope to provide an overview and lessons we can learn from the book of Micah.

The prophet Micah was from the small town of Moresheth Gath in southern Judah, a productive agricultural area about 25 miles southwest of Jerusalem.

Like Amos, he came from the rural countryside, probably from a family of humble status. While the prophet Isaiah was in Jerusalem addressing the king and international affairs,

Micah was a country prophet who was deeply sensitive to the social issues that affected the small towns and villages throughout Judah.

I invite you to go through this Bible Study with me.

    Thank you,

    Margarita
