IN THE SPLENDOR OF HIS HOLINESS

1 Chronicles 16:29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come to before him; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

In The Splendor Of His Holiness

Genuine worship must be don in “holiness” (2 Chronicles 20:21). This means that the focus is not on how much energy one shows in the acts of praise (1 Chronicles 15:28).  Rather, the Lord accepts one’s worship only when the expressions come from a heart that is morally pure, spiritually sincere, and deeply committed to resisting anything that offends God (1 Chronicles 16:7).

THIS PSALM OF THANKS

JANUARY 13 - START YOUR DAY RIGHT DEVOTION
Picture
1 Chronicles 16:7 That day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this psalm of thanks to the LORD:
THIS PSALM OF THANKS
This psalm (a poem or song) is a composite of Psalms 105:1-15; 96:1-13; 106:1, 47-48. David used this form of praise and thanksgiving to celebrate God’s mercy and wonderful acts for Israel. Under the new covenant, all of Christ’s true followers today are considered priests of God (1 Peter 2:5, 9; Revelation 20:6) and are authorized and responsible to offer the spiritual ministry of praise and thanksgiving to God. “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess His name” (Hebrews 13:15). Christians must praise and worship God in both words and actions. When we live in such a way that truly brings honor to God, then our worship truly becomes a sacrifice to Him (1 Chronicles 16:29). Praise is only pleasing to God as long as the person offering it is genuinely committed to His Word and not conformed to the world’s ungodly pattern (Romans 12:1-2).

LET THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO SEEK THE LORD REJOICE
Our joy, security and freedom from anxiety depend on our trust and gratitude to God and on our personal prayer life (Verse 8-11). Those who constantly pray with an attitude of thanksgiving can have confidence that God is always with them and will help them in all areas of life (Psalms 46:1; Philippians 4:6-7).

ACKNOWLEDGE THE GOD OF YOUR FATHER

MAY 17 - START YOUR DAY RIGHT DEVOTION
Picture
1 Chronicles 28:9
And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.
ACKNOWLEDGE THE GOD OF YOUR FATHER
David challenged and instructed Solomon to always acknowledge God.
  1. Acknowledging God means recognizing God’s leadership, depending on God’s guidance, and serving God’s purposes “with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind.” It also means having a practical knowledge of His character and purposes, so that one can maintain a deep relationship with Him and His Word (John 15:4; 17:3).
  2. Serving God means depending on His guidance and His power to fulfill His purposes in us. It involves relying on God’s Word to determine what is right and continually praying for God to be active in our lives (see Matthew 5:6 on hungering and thirsting for righteousness).

    Book of Matthew Bible Study

    $20.00

I'm excited to announce the new bible study starting soon.

Tailspin Farms Life In Grace will be studying The Book of Matthew.

NOTE: THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE A PHYSICAL COPY OF THE BIBLE STUDY.

    The Gospel of Matthew

he Word Gospel. The first book of the English Bible that most of us read from is the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew is the first of the four gospel writings, yet there is only one gospel about Jesus Christ and there are four different writers: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The word "Gospel" means "good news", and the good news is about Jesus Christ dying on the cross and then 3 days later conquering death and rising from the dead, offering salvation to all mankind, this is the Gospel.

I hope you that you'll participate in this 15-week series.

Matthew has 28 chapters. For the in-depth study the 154-page eBook will help with your study.

    Book of Micah Bible Study

    $14.00

Here at Tailspin Farms Life in Grace Bible Study series we are starting the book of MICAH!

The book of MICAH is from the Old Testament.

The book of Micah contains many warnings of doom and prophecies of hope.

In this study on Micah I hope to provide an overview and lessons we can learn from the book of Micah.

The prophet Micah was from the small town of Moresheth Gath in southern Judah, a productive agricultural area about 25 miles southwest of Jerusalem.

Like Amos, he came from the rural countryside, probably from a family of humble status. While the prophet Isaiah was in Jerusalem addressing the king and international affairs,

Micah was a country prophet who was deeply sensitive to the social issues that affected the small towns and villages throughout Judah.

I invite you to go through this Bible Study with me.

    Thank you,

    Margarita
