December 2-Start Your Day Right Devotion 2 Corinthians 4:11-12 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sale, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. GIVEN OVER TO DEATHIn order that we might share Christ's love and life with others, we also must share Christ's sufferings and relate to His death (Romans 6:10; Romans 6:11) in relation to our own selfish desires and defiance toward God (2 Corinthians 4:12). Self-denial, trouble, disappointment, personal sacrifice and suffering for Christ's sake will allow us to show to others God's love, care and provision (2 Corinthians 11:23-29; Romans 8:36; Romans 8:37; Philippians 1:29; 1 Peter 4:14).
