John 15:9-10 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

REMAIN IN MY LOVE

​The only faith-filled response to Christ’s love is to obey His commands. It is His love that provided the opportunity for our spiritual salvation and a personal relationship with Christ. Our obedience is a large part of maintaining that relationship and fulfilling God’s purposes for our lives (John 14:15, 21, 23). Obedience and love must always go together in our relationship with God (1 John 2:5; 5:2-3).
