​THE LAW MIGHT BE FULLY MET IN US

​The Holy Spirit working within believers allows them to remain in a right relationship with God and to do what is right by His standard. God’s moral law still plays a primary role in Christians’ lives – not as a means of gaining spiritual salvation, but as an ethical guide that is followed and obeyed out of love for God and by the power provided by the Holy Spirit. In this way, God’s grace and our obedience to His law are not working against each other (Romans 2:13; 3:31; 6:15; 7:12, 14). They both play a role in our spiritual growth, maturity and the reflection of God’s character in our lives.
