AUGUST 9 - START YOUR DAY RIGHT DEVOTION  Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face. THOUGH HE SLAY ME, YET WILL I HOPE IN HIMThis is one of the most amazing statements of faith ever spoken about God’s goodness. Whatever God allowed to happen to Job, whatever suffering Job had to endure, even if God should “slay” him (end his earthly life), Job believed that in the end God would not fail him. Paul expressed this same confidence in God’s love for His faithful people (Romans 8). Although the Lord may take away our comforts, allow us to experience ill health and take us through deep times of trouble, He will never abandon us. His power and love will see us through to victory if we continue to trust and depend on Him, convinced that He is right and has our best interests in mind (Romans 8:37-39). BIBLE STUDY TOOLS I USE:
