MAY 7 - START YOUR DAY RIGHT DEVOTION  Psalms 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. WAIT PATIENTLY FOR HIM This psalm reveals how righteous and godly people should react when wicked and ungodly people prosper despite their evil and immoral practices and lifestyles. We must hold strongly to faith in God while waiting for Him to bring about justice or defend our good reputations (Verse 1, 73; Proverbs 3:31; 23:17; 24:1; Jeremiah 12). Patience and complete trust in God while going through trouble or suffering are possible with the Holy Spirits’ help (Galatians 5:22; Romans 8:3-4; Ephesians 4:1-2; Colossians 1:11; 3:12). If we listen to Him, the Spirit will assure us of God’s reward for those who follow Him, as well as His punishment on those who defy Him (Romans 8:28: Hebrews 12:1-2, 5-13). BIBLE STUDY TOOLS I USE:
