October 2-Start your Day Right Devotion Exodus 10:1-2 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs of mine among them that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD.” YOU MAY TELL YOUR CHILDREN God revealed His great power and protection over Israel so that they would come to know, accept and follow Him as their God. Centuries earlier He chose Abraham with the purpose that he should teach his children to know and follow the Lord (Genesis 18:19). Later, He commanded the Israelites to diligently teach their children the word of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:7).
