APRIL 28 - START YOUR DAY RIGHT DEVOTION  1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirt, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body. YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRITAs a Christian, your body is the personal dwelling place of the Holy Spirt (Romans 8:11). Because the Spirit lives in you and you belong to God, your body must never be defiled by any impurity or evil, whether by immoral thoughts, desires, actions, or images. This principle also includes things that are not sexual in nature, such as caring properly and responsibly for our physical bodies in every respect. We must live and care for ourselves in such a way as to honor and please God with our bodies (Verse 20). After all, we do not belong to ourselves; Christ paid a ransom for us with His own life (Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45; 1 Thessalonians 2:6; Hebrews 9:15) to free us from sin and bring us into a personal relationship with God.
