CHRIST, WHO IS YOUR LIFE

Although a right basis of belief (2 Timothy 1:13-14) and a holy life (Colossians 3:5-17; John 14:15, 21) are an essential part of a spiritual life and an ongoing relationship with Christ, it is friendship with and love for Christ as a Person that must always be central (Romans 3:22). Notice that Paul mentions the believer’s personal unity, companionship, and interaction with Christ again and again throughout this letter (Colossians 1:27; 2:6-7, 10, 20; 3:1, 3-4).
