MAY 25 - START YOUR DAY RIGHT DEVOTION  Psalms 33:18-19 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. ON THOSE WHO FEAR HIM While the “eyes of the LORD” are on all people (Verse 13-14), He watches over in a special way those who “fear him” (Psalms 34:15) – those whose hearts are filled with awe and respect for His power and holiness (purity, completeness, and separation from evil). God’s “eyes” refer to God’s loving care and oversight of our lives. “To deliver them from death and…famine” means that if we fear the Lord, put our hope in Him, wait patiently for Him to act and keep following His plans, God will watch over and protect us so that we will not die unless it is part of His plan.
