Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING

​This phrase refers to God’s eternal existence. He has no beginning or end.

1. “Everlasting” (Hebrew olam) does not mean that God operates totally outside of time, but rather it suggests His endless existence in time (Psalms 48:14; Genesis 21:33; Job 10:5; 36:26). God’s Word does not teach that God exists in some kind of eternal present, where there is neither past nor future.
2. Bible passages that affirm God’s eternity use terms that suggest a limitless and endless continuing of time, not timelessness. God knows the past as past, the present as present and the future as future.
